The highest standards of quality

Anchored in our desire to maintain a “World of Wellness”, we strive to have the highest standards of quality. Our products are rigorously and regularly tested in our laboratory to make certain of this. Additionally, our Culligan water follows the quality criteria of the IBWA (International Bottled Water Association). Our beverages in 20 oz formats are produced and bottled under the AFAQ ISO 9001 certified quality management system.

We are working so that the concept “Made in Haiti” becomes a symbol of quality in the minds of Haitians and all throughout the world.

Food Quality and Safety Policy

Since 1973, Caribbean Bottling Company (CBC) S.A., a Haitian company, has been manufacturing and marketing treated water and flavored beverages. 

The company’s global strategy includes quality and food safety management, according to ISO 9001 (QMS) and ISO 22000 (FS) standards, because we understand the importance of meeting and exceeding the expectations of our customers as well as those of all our stakeholders, to always be attentive to their needs and to make healthy drinks available to them.

We are therefore committed to the proper implementation and continuous improvement of our Food Quality and Safety Management System, which is constantly reviewed and evaluated on the basis of performance indicators in order to ensure efficiency.

The implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) and Food Safety (FS) is based on the following strategic axes:

  • To measure consumer and customer satisfaction.
  • To retain and increase our client portfolio.
  • To be involved in our community while respecting legal, regulatory and customer requirements and remaining an attractive investment for our shareholders.
  • To maintain a healthy, safe, and stimulating environment so that our team can be fully involved in achieving the organization’s objectives.
  • To master, optimize and constantly improve our Food Quality and Safety Management System.
  • To improve our good hygiene practices in order to produce safe products in the best conditions.
  • To promote culture, awareness, and quality leadership within the company, through education, training, supervision, and constant communication (internal and external) with all stakeholders in the food production chain.

In addition to the areas mentioned above, the Food Safety Management System also has the following general objectives:

  • To prevent risks and control the dangers associated with the manufacture of our products, including protecting ourselves against food fraud and malicious attacks.
  • To innovate and design products in compliance with food safety and the precautionary principle.

These global objectives will be achieved and sustained with the involvement of all.

I have set up a Quality Assurance and Food Safety department which is responsible for the implementation of the system; it reports to me regularly on its status and any need for improvement.

 I call on the entire team to get involved in carrying out this process so that all our interested parties are satisfied and that we maintain our brand image by demonstrating proactivity, reliability, speed, and faithful listening.

I also expect everyone to commit to sustainably improving the level of quality within the organization and to fulfilling their responsibilities regarding food safety. I ask each manager to implement this policy in accordance with the axes mentioned above and all our employees to follow this path. »
