Community

At CBC, we have seen the positive impact of our business on the community. The company allows many people to earn their living in a sustainable and dignified manner. CBC employs more than 500 people and generates more than 3,000 other jobs thanks to its distribution network.

Aware of the environmental needs of our community, we have developed social responsibility programs partnering with corporations as well as local organizations. We facilitate access to water in disadvantaged communities by digging wells. We invest in several ecological activities, most notably in various agroforestry and reforestation programs. Our onsite recycling unit shreds 300,000 pounds of plastic each year that we export. Our investments in advanced machinery reduce sound pollution, our carbon footprint, and use 30% less plastic.
